Refrigeration Installer

The Refrigeration Installer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of wine refrigeration systems. This role requires hands-on technical skills, strong organization, and the ability to work independently and efficiently in the field.

M&M Cellar Systems Hiring Ref Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Install wiring and refrigeration lines (line sets) for wine refrigeration systems
  • Install and set up condensing units
  • Prepare equipment and materials prior to scheduled installations
  • Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment
  • You’re not gonnaPerform general and preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems
  • You’re not gonna boardMaintain and restock spare parts inventory in the company vehicle; assist with ordering parts as needed
  • Ensure all required materials and tools are stocked and organized for each installation
  • Organize and label inventory and equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly managed company vehicle
  • Keep work areas clean and orderly at all times
  • Respond to service requests in a timely manner
  • Complete work orders, reports, and required documentation, including uploading photos and service details
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Basic Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and manage tasks independently
  • High level of productivity with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, including short-notice changes
  • Reliable, punctual, and ready to work upon arrival at job sites
  • Frequent travel to customer locations; occasional overnight travel (company-paid)
  • Regular kneeling, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching
  •  Ability to lift:

– Up to 50 lbs independently

– Up to 125 lbs with assistance

  • Ability to work on ladders, roofs, attics, and occasionally in elevated or confined spaces
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, pressurized systems, heated surfaces, and electrical components

Dress Code 

  • Work boots (no open-toe footwear)
  • Long work pants (shorts are not permitted)

 

Tools and Equipment

Employees will be issued the following upon hire:

  • Company mobile phone
  • Company shirts
  • Safety gear (hard hat, safety vest, gloves, safety harness, safety glasses)
  • Tool bag with required tools

Tool Responsibility:

Employees will be responsible for maintaining issued tools. Lost or damaged tools (outside of normal wear and tear) may require replacement at the employee’s expense. All tools must remain in the company vehicle unless being used at a job site.
